'misery' book jacket

The goal of this project was to recreate a striking and enticing book jacket that followed

to themes and symbolism of the book itself. I wanted to create a subtle but striking cover

for the book “Misery” by Stephen King. I incorporated references to the story like adding

handwritten “n’s” and images of a pig and wheelchair. I created a striking contrast with the

blood red on a white background to give a slight discomfort since it is a horror book.
